Abstract:This article focuses on the operations management of maintenance for equipment products in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment. It delves into a comprehensive analysis of the research state in the field of equipment product maintenance operation management from four sub-domains within two major dimensions: service environment (static and dynamic) and service models (centralized and decentralized). Building upon this analysis, the article proposes research directions and key research questions for the operations management of equipment product maintenance in the IoT environment, specifically addressing maintenance models, optimization of maintenance operations, integrated decision-making for maintenance models and operations, and maintenance platforms. This research provides a clear theoretical blueprint for scholars and business managers to delve deeper into the operations management of equipment product maintenance in the era of the Internet of Things.
