The evolution of ODSS concept is described by reviewing the ODSS researches of 1990s．It is showed that the kinds of decision support in enterprise organizations are interdependent，and emphasis should be placed on the support for solving decNion problems through organizational means． This leads to the trend to view 0DSS in a border way and to develop it as the infrastructure to build enterprise decision support applications．The research paradigm of organizational intelligence is introduced to improve the understanding of these new kind of complex systems．
